DEY Spring Programme
A Diabetes Locally Enhanced Service is offered to Primary Care in York.
WPEM Ltd is working with the Diabetes Team from York Hospital to deliver regular updates via the virtual platform Zoom. The updates have been arranged specifically for practice nurses but available for all local primary health care professionals who have an interest in diabetic medicine. Meetings will be led by Dr Kamrudeen Mohammed – Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology, Honorary Senior Lecturer, HYMS and chaired by Tara Kadis, Lead Diabetes Nurse, York Hospital.

What is Diabetic Kidney Disease?
- How to screen for it.
- How to manage protein in the urine in patients with Diabetes.
- What are the new medications to treat Diabetic Kidney Disease?
- How to monitor patients with Diabetes Kidney Disease.
The meeting is free to attend as financially supported by pharmaceutical companies through purchase of a presentation slot. Pharmaceutical companies have no influence over speakers and are approved by VOY CCG. An E-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all delegates to assist with CPD requirements.
