MultiMorbidity Hub – CPD for Scarborough HCPs – Tuesday 6th September 2022

September 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Multimorbidity Research Hub based at Scarborough General Hospital launched on the 27th January 2022. An exciting venture for York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and their partners Hull York Medical School and the Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Research Network.  The aim of the research Hub is to grow and develop clinical research in the East Coast locality and to improve the access to research for large, under-researched populations. The Hub will provide a route into research for patients with long term and multiple conditions that may be being managed in Primary Care but who currently do not have access to research studies.

To increase awareness and promote engagement with our local healthcare providers in support of the research Hub an initial programme of ‘Talks’ across various Specialties will be delivered throughout 2022 led by Dr Vijay Jayagopal, Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology, HYMS Clinical Dean, and Clinical Lead for the Multimorbidity Research Hub.

All will be delivered over MS Teams and will commence with short pharmaceutical presentations relevant to the therapy area with a prompt start of 19hrs, finish 20.30hrs (inc time for Q&A)
