YoRIG

YoRIG is primarily for health care professionals working within the field of Respiratory Medicine and is open to respiratory nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other health care professionals such as nurse practitioners, community matrons and case managers who spend a lot of their working time with respiratory patients to attend.

The focus of the next meeting will be Severe Asthma: The Who, The Why and How to Manage.

09.30 Asthma Diagnosis, Assessment and Management Masterclass with Karen Frankland, Primary Care Respiratory Nurse Specialist and Trainer

This half day Masterclass leverages best practice from current evidence-based asthma guidelines and includes a review of the pathophysiology and strategies for asthma disease phenotyping. Interactive learning is encouraged through discussions of case studies on various aspects of asthma care. In addition, the masterclass emphasises systematic approaches to the assessment and objective testing in asthma care to help support HCPs in the management of their asthma patients. Hands on practical sessions for FeNO testing, spirometry and bronchodilator reversibility testing are available as part of the masterclass.

There will be a short refreshment break at 11am where delegates will have the opportunity to view exhibition stands.
